Need a hug?
Holy shit, I’ve written about fourteen different animes just regarding the summer season. That’s a lot of blogging, but as long as I’m enjoying this, I don’t care at all. Obviously I won’t keep this pace forever, if I do I’ll break my keyboard in a month… Which would be awesome, because what I’m using right now is terrible, I need a new one and I need it for yesterday.
Anyway, I’ll put my idea to work. Every two episodes or so, I’ll write a post with some “extensive” content, if you think that something around ten paragraphs is too much text. Of course, I might change my mind if I think that an episode deserves a quick update or else. What I’m saying is: there will be no schedule, no logic, I’ll just do as I please.
Also, next week I’ll be traveling for eight days straight and I’m not planning on doing anything anime, fansubbing or blogging related, I’ll just forget everything and get wasted in a city I don’t know with a bunch of friends. That said, I’ll use my time until sunday to prepare a few reviews and schedule them for publication throughout the next week.
I wanna pet them.
Woot! I found the first season of Dog Days truly amazing, so I was really looking forward to this day! And it seems to be even better now that we have not two but three nations with their own heroes fighting each other. I’m just not sure if Rebecca can do anything fancy but hey, I don’t care, try to surprise me.
Again, the OP and ED songs are amazing, and I can’t wait for Millhiore to perform in public. The anime still has the same friendly atmosphere as before, where they aren’t really enemies but simply having fun by taking different sides in a “fighting” competition. Also, I love when Eclair plays tsundere because dogs are anything but sincere… Her face might be of a tsun, but her tail will always be all dere.
Think about a plausible explanation yourselves.
This anime portrays exactly my mind at work. Not serious work, but when I’m bored or when I’m writing these posts… I simply start with an idea and try to find connections with everything else I know and BAM, I’m in a weird place, just like they started discussing “casual clothing” and ended up with a naked girl.
The show has jokes everywhere and it’s pretty hard to understand if you don’t know a good deal of japanese. Those puns are hard to translate while keeping the same or close to the original meaning, and just this episode had several puns. I myself couldn’t grasp a couple of jokes, but I’ll keep trying. That’s new to me, I’m actually making an effort to laugh but I’ve already said that you don’t need too much to make me even giggle.
Oh, thumbs up for a catchy ED.
I recommend you watch this scene fame by frame. It’s hilarious.
The most fortunate girl in the world and the god of misfortune… I’ll bite. The first episode was very
mindfucking interesting and had some fine jokes, even though you don’t need a lot to make me laugh. This anime has no commitment with reality whatsoever, and any situation can be exaggerated to a point where you laugh not necessarily because it’s funny, but because it’s completely absurd.
I just have some problems accepting the fact she is a fortunate girl who sucks the fortune of everyone else. Indirectly, the people close to her who become unfortunate also affects her. But hey, who am I to think about logic in a show like this? Fuck logic, make me laugh already. Oh, and I loved the ending.
A girl suddenly kisses a normal guy who just used a rock to defeat a god. That’s how you make girls wet.
This would be just another
day at the office anime with the same old crap about boys and girls and a relationship that never happens etc etc, but if this first episode isn’t deceiving me, there’s good stuff on the way. The sad part of it all: 99% of first episodes are deceiving, and the same goes to statistics made up out of the blue like this one.
As always, I’m a believer… That’s probably my greatest weakness, I can’t help it. This episode was downright awesome, but surely not what we are going to see from the second one onwards… Maybe, just maybe I’m wrong. I plead to all gods in Campione, let me be wrong once again, Erica is just too hot to be wasted in a bad anime.
I wanna feast on that delicious ear too.
Fuck yeah FINALLY! I thought there would be no male protagonist “macho” enough to simply go there and mess up with the girls, but thank god I was wrong. That guy is a legend, he strips off any underwear in the blink of an eye and has no problems when it comes to kissing and physically teasing girls. A true alpha male.
I hate to admit but I was thinking this anime would be terrible… Now I can only see awesomeness everywhere I look. It’s like the light at the end of the tunnel, where the tunnel is summer season, full of animes where male protagonists are either afraid of girls or gay (what’s the difference anyway?) and the light is Estetica, with a true alpha male taking good care of hot maids, princesses and pretty much anything else with boobs.
My eyes don’t mind to stare at such beauty even if my mind says that everything else is terrible.
Hurr… Have you ever watched Koihime Musou? Oda Nobuna no Yabou is Koihime Musou if there was a male character in the mix. Female generals can never be taken seriously, and for some reason they are always slutty… Not that I dislike this fact, though. Anyway, I know a thing or two about Hideyoshi, the role of the main character, but I
ain’t interested don’t have time to look it up better on Wikipedia or somewhere else… And this is not the first anime about Hideyoshi either.
It’s still somewhat interesting though, the guy is from the future and knows exactly how the story should develop, which means he could make a difference in history. Of course, we know that he’ll use his knowledge to impress those girls and (try to) get some, but I’m not sure if this is ever gonna happen. Well, if I get to see some good fan service and tsun-deres (is there any?), I’m in.
